okies....aft a very long haitus.........i hav decided 2 post smth here..........:D
On Monday,6th Oct........I had an opportunity to attend a product launch cum media outreach at fashion bar. The product in question is none other than Paris Top Cosmetic Brand, Methode Jeanne Piaubert .
The event started off with an introduction to their products ranging from basic facial and make up care to more intensive applications such as bust firming, body toning and eye puffiness reduction. I bet the eye puffiness reduction will be a great boost for work burderned stressed out young professionals who will appreciate a one stop treatment that will take away that zoombie look in one zit!
Then, the exciting and real deals came in. A fashion parade. Let's allow the pictures to do the talking for this segment, shall we?

The model above is holding a bottle of DOUCEUR D'EAU GeL which means give into the pleasure of water in french. True to its name, when I tried(they gave us free samples to try out), it was as light as water and my skin didn't feel dry after using it. The plus point is, it removes make up too. For those of us who are deadbeat after a long day at work and want a fuss free facial cleanser, this would be a good buy.

There were samples for us to try out. So, my friends and I tried out their skin breakfast(photograph not avaliable as we forgot to take a pict of it). Its a body moisturizer which helps prevent first signs of aging. What we liked about is, was its texture. It was smooth, silky and most importantly not oily. I never liked mositurizers which leave a film of oil on my skin after I apply them; makes me feel like an oiled pan.=p
More picts of their products! Their range is amazing as there have stuff for slimming to make up and even fragance.

Dear God,
Let my prayers be surrendered to your throne of Grace.
Teach me to live out each day according to your Word
Grant me the wisdom to understand the things that can be changed and the serendity to accept the things that can't be changed.
Let me acknowledge that all things happenth for the good of us.
Allow me to comprehend the greatest standard of love that You displayed on the cross.
Last of all, let me walk in your Spirit day by day.

Dear Stranger,
Do not fear what how the world will respond. Go out and reach for your destiny. It was my mistake, and do not allow it to affect you. For you are stronger than that. Words can be cutting, but facial expressions are a double edged sword. Do not be hurt,do not be injured by the underside of the cut.
When the opportunity arises, the fault will be mine and the apology yours. And, till then, stranger do not be fearful or
embarrassed. Go on, fly.
In
situ,
Stranger

"Miss, what tea would you like?"
Tea. Its more than just a beverage to me. I have been drinking tea since the age of 13, and its something that has grown with me.
There were a range of teas to choose from, from new age floral ones to the traditional tie
guan ying. I pointed out X tea to the lady. It
wasn't my usual beverage but I went ahead with my choice.
I
didn't choose X tea because it was
particularly flavourful or because it was value for money. I chose it because of the infusion it produces in contact with hot water. Tea was and is meant to be savoured slowly. Let the steam assail your
nostrils, the warmth and boldness of the porcelain to
infiltrate your fingertips before taking a sip of that brew. After the initial sip, I found it too
bland for my
palate. I continued sipping it, since I chose that brew anyway. Slowly, I learnt to appreciate its infusion. The strength of its fluidity, the smoothness of its texture and the warmth it left in my belly.
Should I switch to this brew or should I continue with my usual brew?

In the midst of the bustle, I stood still. Very still. I wanted to capture that moment, a stop of serenity piercing through the midst of everything. I wished I could blur the lines and focus all into my utopia, a small silt in the chaos. But, I chose instead to close my eyes and open my ears, allowing the bustle to wash me ashore, taking everything away from me. And, when I opened my eyes, all I saw and remembered was how distant everything was.
